Just minutes ago, MPs of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada voted 235 in favour of dismissing the controversial Environment and Natural Resources Minister Igor Shevchenko, who was on holiday in Monaco during the oil depot fire near Vasylkiv.

Shevchenko had been repeatedly urged to resign voluntarily, but he refused to submit his resignation, seeing nothing criminal in flying on oligarchs' private jets and holidaying at expensive resorts.
