Maksym Krippa threatens media

Today, our website was subjected to a DDoS attack, after which we received an email containing threats from a representative of Maksym Krippa.

But let us start from the beginning. Today during the day, we noticed suspicious activity on the website. Initially, there were several clicks on the article about Maksym Krippa from a Dutch IP address.

A few minutes later, a massive influx of requests began from Chinese and Indian IP addresses.

However, it did not end there. A few hours later, the editorial office received an email containing threats from an agency called Clearive ZBB World Group LTD.

The author of the email identified himself as Athanasios Milionis. The agency is the official representative of Ukrainian Maksym Krippa. It accuses us of publishing information from a dubious source. The email also includes a demand to “immediately remove the article, including any other language versions”. This refers to the article: “What is Maksym Krippa trying to hide” https://odnoboko.com/Chto_pytaetsya_skryt_Maksim_Krippa

Judging by the aggressive tone of the complaint, Krippa indeed has something to hide.

“In the event of non-compliance with the requirements of this complaint, please note that we have been instructed to initiate proceedings against you without prior notice”. 

Presumably, Maksym Krippa is unaware that pressuring the media is illegal.

The fact of the DDoS attack has been documented. Together with the letter from Maksym Krippa’s representative, this information will be used in court. In addition, we have filed a report with the law enforcement agencies regarding these unlawful actions.
