Alibaba, through its Alibaba Qwen division, has announced a new AI model, Qwen2.5-Max, which, according to the developers, significantly outperforms solutions such as GPT-4, DeepSeek-V3, Llama-3.1-405B and Claude 3.5 Sonnet.

The model is already available for use via the Qwen Chat interface.
