Inflation in Ukraine accelerated to 11.2% in November

Consumer inflation reached 11.2% year-on-year in November, exceeding October forecasts, according to the National Bank’s December macroeconomic report.

Price increases affected virtually all categories of goods and services:

• Food products.
• Clothing and footwear.
• Financial services.
• Telecommunications.
• Education.
• Recreation and leisure.
• Restaurant and hotel visits.
• Personal hygiene products.
• Fuel.
• Alcoholic and tobacco products.
• Medicines, medical goods and equipment.
