General Staff orders removal of hazardous uniform

A few days ago, a soldier died in hospital from burns sustained at the Yavoriv training ground. The soldier's uniform, item number 2701, caught fire and melted.

Following the public outcry, the General Staff of Ukraine has finally ordered the removal of the hazardous uniform from warehouses and units, and its replacement with a new model that has passed testing, does not burn or melt, thereby preserving human life.

The order has already been distributed to military units. However, Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel report that the uniform replacement has not yet taken place.
