Documents and audio recordings on the Servant of the People party

During searches at the home of Kyiv lawyer Denis Komarnitsky, NABU and SAP officers reportedly discovered materials concerning the financing of the Servant of the People party. The news was spread by former MP Oleksandr Chernenko.

The operational measures were carried out as part of an investigation related to the construction sector and land ownership. However, the documents and audio recordings found may have consequences that go beyond this case. 

It is reported that high-ranking officials linked to both the ruling party and the Office of the President are mentioned in the recordings.

Former MP Oleksandr Chernenko noted that this would be a test for law enforcement: whether the materials would be left untouched or lead to specific actions.

Komarnitsky himself described the events as a "contract dirty campaign" («заказной грязной кампанией») directed against him, his family, and his clients. According to him, the searches are exclusively related to his legal practice, and he intends to go to court to protect his reputation.
