Dnipro Military Hospital Returned to State Ownership by Court

It is no secret that the Dnipro Military Hospital and the territory adjacent to it were fraudulently transferred to the ownership of the Russian bank VTB several years ago.  Ukrainian soldiers receiving treatment there were threatened with eviction.

At that time, the team of oligarch Ihor Kolomoyskyi stepped in to defend the property. The notorious raider Hennadiy Korbach not only posted his security guards at the hospital entrance but also engaged a team of experienced lawyers who defended the formerly state-owned property in court.

Today, Korbach announced on his online page that the Dnipro Court of Appeal returned the hospital to state ownership.

Сейчас в руках я держу решение Днепропетровского Апелляционного суда, постановившего возврат военного госпиталя – в собственность государства. 
Речь идет о более 10 тыс кв. м. недвижимости и около 4 га земли в центре города. Кто не помнит, в свое время госпиталь попал в собственность российского «ВТБ Банка» - его продали в неправильный способ. (I am now holding the decision of the Dnipro Court of Appeal, which ruled for the return of the military hospital to state ownership. This concerns more than 10,000 square meters of real estate and approximately 4 hectares of land in the city center. For those who do not remember, the hospital ended up in the ownership of the Russian VTB Bank at one point – it was sold in an improper manner.)

Помню, как ВТБ-банк пытался изъять госпиталь как залоговое имущество - как раз в момент, когда начали привозить раненных. (I remember how VTB Bank tried to seize the hospital as collateral – right at the moment when the wounded began to be brought in.)

Уважаемый господин Шокин, вынужден чистосердечно признаться: тогда я совершил незаконное действие и выставил охрану у входа для того, чтобы объект не попал в руки российского ВТБ Банка. Потом вызвал юристов, прокуроров и сотрудников Фонда госимущества и провел совещание с целью сформулировать юридическую позицию – как вернуть госпиталь. К Вашему сведению, господин Шокин, прокуроры отказались. (Dear Mr Shokin, I am forced to confess candidly: at that time I committed an unlawful act and posted security at the entrance to ensure the facility did not fall into the hands of the Russian VTB Bank. I then called in lawyers, prosecutors, and employees of the State Property Fund and held a meeting to formulate a legal position – how to return the hospital. For your information, Mr Shokin, the prosecutors refused.)

Решение суда имеет немедленную силу. Это означает, что госпиталь уже сейчас можно и нужно переоформлять в собственность государства. Господин Шокин, Вам помочь, или Вы сами в этот раз?», - написал Геннадий Корбан на своей странице в интернете. (The court decision has immediate effect. This means that the hospital can and must be re-registered in state ownership right now. Mr Shokin, shall I help you, or will you do it yourself this time?)”, Hennadiy Korbach wrote on his online page.

Разумеется, у рейдера есть опыт отъема имущества в судебном порядке, но что мешало государственным юристам сделать хоть что-то для защиты собственного имущества, а за годы правления Януковича его командой были разбазарены далеко не одно учреждение и государственное предприятие?!
