Britain considers closing airspace over Ukraine

London is prepared to consider closing the airspace over Ukraine if it becomes a key element of a peace agreement. This was reported by Sky News, citing a statement by Labour leader Keir Starmer.

According to him, a number of European countries have already begun actively planning a possible peacekeeping mission. Moreover, this process is gaining momentum and is being treated with a high degree of urgency.

"Coalition of the willing"

The United Kingdom intends to act as a guarantor of the peace agreement, should one be reached, and to involve a "coalition of the willing" — a group of countries ready to take responsibility for its implementation — in ensuring its security.
