Anti-corruption court confiscates assets of pro-Russian political scientist Serhiienko

Ukraine's High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the Ministry of Justice's claim and ordered the confiscation of the assets of Lviv-based political scientist Andrii Serhiienko, known for his support of the annexation of Crimea. According to the court's ruling, the following assets were transferred to state ownership:

Half of an apartment in Lviv
50% of the company "Health Care Ukraine"

Who is Andrii Serhiienko?

Serhiienko was born in Lviv but later emigrated to Germany. For many years, he promoted pro-Russian narratives, regularly appeared on Vladimir Solovyov's broadcasts and those of other Kremlin propagandists. In 2023, he was placed under sanctions by Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council as an individual posing a threat to national security.
