Andrei Portnov returns to Ukraine

The inauguration of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is scheduled for 20 May 2019. Judging by the situation, this event is awaited not only by the 73% of voters who supported him, but also by a number of controversial figures who have lived abroad for the past four to five years.

For instance, Igor Kolomoisky, who is presumably behind Zelensky, returned to Ukraine a few days ago. Today, Andrei Portnov announced his arrival. He was formerly the deputy head of the Administration of the President – the fugitive Viktor Yanukovych.

On his page, Portnov wrote that he had been out of the country for more than five years. This serves as a signal for the return of other Yanukovych supporters. Well, we now await the “legitimate” one.

It is worth noting that Prosecutor General Lutsenko has already pointed out on Facebook that there is no reason to detain Portnov.
