Drone remains found in several locations

The morning of October 3 in several administrative units of Moldova was marked by loud explosions. Following the incidents, law enforcement representatives recorded fragments of at least five unmanned aerial vehicles at the scenes. This was reported by the republic's police.

Details of incidents in Căușeni and Ștefan Vodă districts

In the Căușeni district, debris from two drones was found in different locations: on the outskirts of the city of Căușeni and near the village of Konstantinovka. It was at the latter location that a fire broke out as a result of the crash or explosion.

Similar finds were made in the Ștefan Vodă district near the settlement of Crocomaz. The explosion there occurred on the territory of a vineyard located next to an agricultural brigade. As a result, grass caught fire, and the windows of the nearest building were damaged. No deaths or injuries among people were recorded.

Other locations where debris was found

Additional fragments of drones were found by police in the Anenii Noi district, between the villages of Delaciu and Puheteni, as well as outside the village of Dubovka in the Hîncești district.

Distance from the border

According to law enforcement data, the locations where drone debris was found are situated at a distance of 6 to 120 kilometres from the Ukrainian border.
