UAV crashes near residential area

An unmanned aerial vehicle was found in Kishtelnytsia village in Telenesti district, having crashed approximately 100 metres from a residential building. The Moldova police reported the incident.

No casualties or injuries

Preliminary information indicates that no one was injured as a result of the crash.

To ensure the safety of local residents, law enforcement officers cordoned off the scene. Specialists from the police bomb disposal unit also arrived at the site. Their task is to inspect the object and establish all the circumstances of the incident.

Appeal to citizens

The police urge citizens not to approach drones, their debris, or other suspicious objects. Touching these objects is prohibited. It is necessary to stay away from the danger zone until the inspection is complete.
