Temu collects users' personal data

According to a statement by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the popular Temu app collects extensive personal data from its users.

This allows Chinese authorities to monitor them and potentially carry out cyberattacks.

The application requires broad access to devices, including confidential data such as location information, contact lists, as well as access to the user's microphone and camera.

These actions may compromise personal safety and the privacy of data collected through the app.
