Sviatoslav Sheremeta plans to challenge Poland's Schengen entry ban in court

Sviatoslav Sheremeta, who holds the position of deputy in the Lviv Oblast Council, officially announced his intention to legally challenge the decision made by the Polish side. This concerns the ban on entry into the Schengen zone that was imposed on him.

Not the first case of restricted access

For Sviatoslav Sheremeta, this is already the second situation in which he has been prohibited from crossing the Polish border. The previous incident occurred in 2017. At that time, the citizen was denied entry into the country, despite holding a valid Schengen visa issued by the German side.
