Svetlana Loboda undergoes surgery

Former VIA Gra vocalist Svetlana Loboda has undergone emergency surgery. The artist was hospitalised yesterday with a suspected kidney condition. She complained of acute back pain and subsequently fainted. Colleagues called for medical assistance.

Her condition deteriorated today, and doctors at a Moscow clinic decided that surgical intervention was necessary. The singer was diagnosed with kidney obstruction. Waiting any longer would have been simply dangerous.
