Samsung fines Sobchak $1.6 million

Not long ago, well-known presenter Ksenia Sobchak was caught using an iPhone X, which she carefully hides under papers or a case.  

One might wonder what the big deal is, given that all successful people prefer Apple gadgets? However, Sobchak is an ambassador for the Samsung brand and cannot publicly use equipment from other manufacturers.

Gabrelyanov had been complaining to the brand about the presenter for a long time, sending complaints to the company's head office. Apparently, the complaints reached their destination. This is indicated by today's statement from a Samsung representative.

The fine amount

The company issued the presenter a fine of $1.6 million, which she will have to compensate. Otherwise, Ksenia faces a lawsuit. And this time, the amount will undoubtedly be much larger.

This is not Sobchak's first mistake. Lately, she has been plagued by failures, not only in her professional activities. For instance, a correspondence stolen from the presenter's phone leaked online, in which she insulted many celebrities and admitted that she still cannot forget her wealthy lovers. And this despite having a legal husband.

At the same time, the magazine where Sobchak served as editor-in-chief has closed.

In addition, the presenter's political career has not taken off. The electorate simply does not take the "House 2" star seriously.

Now, Ksenia is to blame for the situation that has arisen. She knew perfectly well that she was violating the terms of her contract by using an iPhone. Moreover, the star did so publicly. Therefore, sanctions were inevitable. Now Sobchak will have to fork out 100 million rubles. Of course, she has such a sum. However, Ksenia is hardly a generous person. She is very careful with her money.

It would have been better if Sobchak had tried her luck in legal business. For example, by selling paper cups wholesale or engaging in something else.

It is worth noting that the presenter will launch a new show in the near future, starring herself. One can only wish her luck. Perhaps Ksenia will finally learn from her past failures.
