SpaceX satellite mobile internet to become available on most smartphones

Technology giant SpaceX has taken another step towards global connectivity: satellite mobile internet, launched in partnership with T-Mobile, is now supported on most modern smartphones. This news is significant for users living in areas with unstable coverage.

Which devices support the service?
Currently, satellite connectivity is available to owners of iPhone 14 and newer, flagship Pixel models, as well as three Samsung Galaxy lines (A, S, X, Z). Support is expected to be extended to other devices in the future.

Free trial until July
The service is currently in beta testing, and until July, subscribers of all US carriers can use it for free. At present, text messaging and photo sharing are available, while the ability to make calls and use mobile internet will be added in the future.
