Fire threat to pharmaceutical logistics

During a Russian strike near Kyiv, fire engulfed the warehouse complexes of the company Venti, which is among the largest players in the drug distribution market in Ukraine. According to local sources, medicines from a number of leading international and domestic manufacturers were stored on these premises.

List of affected brands

Among the drugs that found themselves in the epicentre of the incident were products from companies such as Bayer, Sanofi, Pfizer, Inc., and Teva. The warehouses also stored medicines from Ukrainian pharmaceutical enterprises Darnitsa and Farmak, as well as other manufacturers.

Consequences of the incident

A fire broke out on the warehouse grounds following the attack. At present, precise data on the scale of the damage and the potential impact on pharmaceutical supply chains are still being clarified.
