Calm geomagnetic background at the start of the week

No significant magnetic storms are expected on Monday, 5 October. According to Meteoagent, geomagnetic activity is forecast with a K-index of 4.3, corresponding to the yellow level.

As noted by Meteoprog, solar activity has been at a low level over the past 24 hours. Two Class B flares occurred on the Sun, which have virtually no impact on Earth.

On Monday, the geomagnetic field will range from quiet to active levels. Solar activity will remain low.
