Los Angeles fire causes Hollywood production disruptions
The Los Angeles fire has led to significant disruptions in Hollywood operations.
Deteriorating air quality and the need to evacuate residents from danger zones forced the suspension of filming for numerous popular series. These include: “Grey’s Anatomy”, “The Con”, “Ted”, “Force Majeure: Los Angeles”, “Abbott Elementary”, “Dr. Odyssey”, and the second season of the hit show “Fallout” starring Macaulay Culkin.
The problems extended beyond filming processes. The fire caused the postponement of several major film premieres and important events. Among them were the announcement of the shortlist for the “Oscar” awards, the premieres of the films “Expendables” and “Werewolf Man”, as well as the AFI and BAFTA award ceremonies.
The Hollywood film industry has suffered significant losses due to this natural disaster, which has become yet another trial for the world’s largest centre of film production.
