Parubiy murder accused details costs of preparing the killing

During the court hearing, Mykhailo Stselnikov, who is charged with the murder of former Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy, provided information on the financial aspects of preparing the crime. According to him, the total cost of this process exceeded $4,000.

Details of the crime preparation

The court learned that the defendant changed mobile phones several times during the preparation period. He also purchased special clothing and a helmet, as well as repaired a car. An important aspect Stselnikov highlighted was the deletion of all correspondence with the person he calls his "curator".

Surveillance of the target

According to the defendant, he conducted surveillance of Andriy Parubiy in Lviv three times while preparing to commit the criminal act. These episodes were part of the overall plan of action implemented during the preparation stage.

Source of funds

Stselnikov also explained the sources of funding for his actions. He noted that part of the necessary funds was transferred to his bank card, while the remainder consisted of his personal savings.
