New favourites for Eurovision 2017

Just over a week from now, the final of the Eurovision 2017 song contest will take place in Kyiv. Bookmakers are actively accepting bets on the participants. And new favourites have emerged.

As before, victory in the contest is predicted for Italy's representative Francesco Gabbani, who will take the stage with a monkey, albeit not a real one.

Bulgaria's representative Kristian Kostov has unexpectedly shot up to second place. He lived in Russia just a few years ago and, had the Russian Federation not refused to broadcast the event and participate in the voting, he would have had every chance of winning.

 Sweden has risen to third place.

At the same time, Ukraine has dropped to 24th position.
