Court filing regarding the return of property

Vladimir Klitschko has officially stated his suspicions regarding the illegal appropriation of items belonging to his former partner, Hayden Panettiere. The former boxer is attempting to obtain court authority that would allow him to initiate and sanction a law enforcement investigation into the missing property. This initiative is linked to the procedure for establishing guardianship over their 12-year-old daughter, Kaiya Yevdokia.

Suspicions regarding a pawnshop

According to court documents cited by TMZ, Klitschko claims that someone from the actress's circle sold some of her items to a pawnshop. In his view, this was "not a relative who had previously been associated with Hayden," who likely pledged jewellery. The former boxer reports that pawnshop representatives refuse to provide specific information about the valuables without a police request. He fears that the items may be sold to third parties and therefore demands law enforcement intervention.

Context of the estate case

Vladimir Klitschko filed documents as part of the procedure to obtain guardianship rights. He noted that the return of Panettiere's property is directly linked to the girl's estate. Klitschko previously had sole custody of the child, but now he is requesting that his appointment as guardian include specific powers to demand and sanction an investigation into property that he believes was illegally appropriated.

Additional claims about the disappearance of valuables

In his initial statement, Vladimir claimed that valuables had disappeared and that Hayden's emails had been accessed and deleted. He also added that some property is under the protection of law enforcement agencies, while other items were seized by federal agents.

Klitschko stated that before her death, Hayden hired a security company to protect her home and its contents. According to him, this decision arose from "documented concern" that one individual had gained unauthorised access to her residence. He noted that Hayden's designer clothing had been moved to prevent theft, but he feared that this person would continue to attempt to obtain it.

A court ruling in this case has not yet been issued. Hayden Panettiere died on 16 August at the age of 36; according to available data, the cause of death was an overdose.
