Kanye West is back in the celebrity news, having revealed an offer to earn $2 million for promoting a dubious cryptocurrency.

According to the rapper, he was offered payment for a post advertising the so-called YE coin, on the condition that he keep the publication on his page for eight hours, after which he would be allowed to claim his account had been hacked.

However, West, known for his independent views and principled stance, turned down the offer, explaining that he did not want to betray the trust of his followers or become part of a financial scam.
