According to sources, Yevhen Yermakov, co-owner of the ATB supermarket chain, has directed approximately $100 million to the purchase of a luxury yacht and a private plane over the past two years of the full-scale war by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Details of the superyacht Serena purchase

The businessman indirectly became the owner of the 55-metre superyacht Serena (IMO number: 9967691). The vessel was launched on 27 August 2024 at the renowned Dutch shipyard Heesen. The yacht was handed over to Yevhen Yermakov in early 2025. The specialist resource YachtAhoy values the vessel at $45 million and identifies Yevhen Yermakov specifically as its owner.

The yacht is designed to accommodate 12 guests and 13 crew members. The manufacturer describes the interior space as follows:

(The owner's cabins are located on the main deck in the bow section and include a living room and office space, a spacious full-beam cabin with a veranda, two large "his and hers" walk-in closets, and a large bathroom. The lower deck features four guest cabins: two double cabins with transverse beds for optimal walking space, and two single cabins with additional Pullman beds. Each cabin boasts its own bathroom with unique marble in different colours for each cabin. The bridge deck has a gym, which can easily be converted into a cabin if needed).

The vessel sails under the flag of the Cayman Islands, but is legally registered to the Cypriot company SLR Solaria International Holding. The directors of this structure are Yevhen Yermakov himself, his wife Tetiana, and his son Vladyslav.

Private business jet in the family fleet

The enterprise SLR Solaria International Holding owns a private business jet of the Bombardier BD-700 Global Express model, manufactured in 2024. The aircraft is capable of carrying up to 13 passengers along with the crew. Aviation market experts value a new aircraft of this category in the range of $50 to $60 million. Last year, the aircraft was transferred to the operational management of the company Union Aviation.

Although Yevhen Yermakov's financial capabilities allow him to make such investments, such purchases in the context of the country conducting hostilities against the aggressor have caused public resonance.

Assets and family connections

The Yermakov family owns real estate in the US, France, and Austria. Some of these properties were acquired over the past few years. Specifically, the businessman's son Vladyslav Yermakov purchased luxury apartments in Miami, while his daughter Kristina Stupak bought property in Vienna.

Yevhen Yermakov's son-in-law is Ivan Stupak, who previously held the position of deputy of the Kyiv Oblast Council and is now known as a widely cited military expert.
