Wife of tax university vice-rector holds over $150,000 in cash

The financial declaration of Dmytro Ventskovskyi, vice-rector of the State Tax University, has attracted public attention. The declaration states that his wife, Yulia, holds a substantial amount of cash exceeding $150,000 in equivalent.

Currency savings and dividends

According to official data, the official's wife holds:

• $126,000 in cash,
• €27,000,
• 180,000 hryvnias.

In addition, in 2024 she received 1.5 million hryvnias in dividends from the limited liability company "Production and Trading Firm Kontekh", as well as 103,000 hryvnias in salary from a telecommunications company and 52,000 hryvnias in social benefits.

Income and the Ventskovskyi family's car fleet

Dmytro Ventskovskyi himself earns significantly less. His salary at the university last year amounted to 1.088 million hryvnias.

The declaration also lists three cars owned by the family:

• Renault Logan (2012),
• Audi A3 (2015),
• Audi A3 (2016), acquired in 2019 and 2020.

Career: from the Ministry of Finance to the tax service

Before working at the university, Ventskovskyi held a number of senior positions in state structures:

• 2018 – advisor to the Minister of Finance,
• 2019 – head of a department at the State Customs Service,
• 2019 – deputy head of the State Fiscal Service,
• 2020 – deputy head of the State Tax Service.
