Yuriy Lutsenko resigns as head of BPP parliamentary faction
High-profile resignations continue in Ukraine. Today, People's Deputy Yuriy Lutsenko submitted his resignation as chairman of the parliamentary faction of the political party "Petro Poroshenko Bloc".
This was announced by his press secretary, Larysa Sargan, on her Facebook page.
«Народний депутат Юрій Луценко написав заяву про відставку з посади голови парламентської фракції політичної партії «Блок Петра Порошенка» (People's Deputy Yuriy Lutsenko has submitted a resignation letter from the position of head of the parliamentary faction of the political party "Petro Poroshenko Bloc"), Sargan wrote.
Earlier, Lutsenko announced his intention to run for mayor of Kyiv.
There is currently no reliable information on the motives behind the deputy's decision. It is possible that he sees himself in some other position.
