Voitechovsky gives testimony on attempt to bribe judges

Anatoly Voitechovsky, a businessman extradited from abroad who is linked to prominent developer Andriy Vavrysh, has begun cooperating with the investigation. During interrogations, he provided details of an attempt to bribe Supreme Court judges who were hearing a case concerning the illegal appropriation of land plots belonging to the National Academy of Internal Affairs.

One million dollars for a "correct" verdict

According to Voitechovsky, Andriy Vavrysh handed over one million US dollars to four judges in exchange for a ruling in his favour. The court was to hear a case related to the theft of 30 hectares of land belonging to the Kyiv police.

Elite development on disputed territory

The land plot was registered under the company "Rezon", controlled by Vavrysh and his associates. According to the investigation, the construction of the O2 Residence residential complex is planned on this territory, despite violations and the illegal nature of the transaction.
