Fraudulent volunteers colluded with air defence gun commanders

As the saying goes, "war is one man's meat and another man's poison". The war in Donbas has seen all manner of fraud. Recently, a new method was added, far more serious and dangerous than previous ones.

Certain volunteers, who do not have their own pages on social media, do not run public fundraising campaigns and, as a result, do not report to anyone or submit to any oversight, have devised a new scheme to make money from the war, naturally at the expense of others, in this case the state.

Such a "volunteer" arrives at a unit, let's call it "X", on the front line, makes acquaintances, buys drinks, treats people to food, and then leaves. After some time, he returns a second time, again buys drinks, treats people, and leaves. On the third visit, he gets closer to the air defence gun commander and offers him a "good deal". He brings him a broken control unit from an "Igla" missile system, pays five hundred dollars, and in exchange takes a working unit. A few days later, the commander writes up an act documenting the breakdown of the control unit, the "Igla" is sent for repair to one of the "Ukroboronprom" enterprises, and a few days later a newly registered private enterprise sells the unit to UOP for 15,000  dollars, after which UOP itself carries out the repair for the Ministry of Defence for 25,000 dollars. The scheme can be repeated an unlimited number of times.
