Ukraine to change tax system for parcels: new bills proposed. We have already written about one of them. In it, deputies propose reducing the import duty to 0 on commercial parcels. The second bill is completely the opposite.

All parcels from abroad will be subject to VAT, regardless of their value. The bills submitted to the Verkhovna Rada provide that imported goods worth up to €150 are subject only to VAT. Import customs duty will be levied only if the value of the goods exceeds €150.

However, there is an exception for parcels containing goods worth up to €45. They will not be subject to VAT, provided that the sender is an individual and the parcel has no commercial purpose or payment.
