Vessel with Russian crew detained in Norway

A vessel with a Russian crew has been detained in Norway on suspicion of damaging an undersea cable. The incident has drawn the attention of local authorities and sparked intense debate in the press, particularly in the Dagbladet newspaper. 

The vessel, which is registered in Norway, remains at the centre of the investigation, despite officially belonging to the country.

According to sources, the vessel was brought to the scene of the incident by the Norwegian Coast Guard as part of an operational operation carried out late in the evening on the previous day.
