Ivan Levitan's painting 'The Last Snow' has been stolen in Moscow. It was an authentic canvas with an insured value estimated at $30,000.

The painting was handed over by an entrepreneur to art dealer Mikhail Tomashevich for further sale.

The dealer passed the canvas to an expert to find a final buyer. However, the expert found another use for it. He simply disappeared with the canvas and stopped answering phone calls.

As a result, the entrepreneur will have to reimburse the dealer for the value of the painting.
