Russian Mi-8 spotted in Kherson region

A Russian reconnaissance helicopter, an Mi-8, was spotted in the skies over Kherson region today. It flew along the region's borders before heading towards occupied Crimea.

The aircraft followed the administrative border of the region without crossing it, so it was not shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

It is worth noting that this is the first instance of Russian military equipment appearing along the border with the temporarily occupied territory since the decision was made and the order issued to shoot it down if it crosses the administrative border.
