Illegal casino shut down in Dnipro

The operations of an illegal online casino with an annual turnover of over 2 billion hryvnias have been suspended in Dnipro.

The perpetrators organised underground gambling and laundered funds obtained in cryptocurrency. The casino had been operating since 2021 and targeted not only Ukrainian citizens but also users from Europe and Asia.

Company representatives entered false data into the official licence registry of the KRAIL. Subsequently, using a fictitious licence that did not correspond to the actual type of activity, they began providing access to illegal gambling. Those involved in the scheme face up to 12 years in prison.
