Ukraine ranks eighth in global coal reserves

Ukraine holds the eighth position in the world for coal reserves. However, a significant portion of these resources is concentrated in the Donbas region, where mining prospects for the coming years remain uncertain.

Following the liberation of the region, the country will face the need for comprehensive reconstruction. 

This encompasses not only the restoration of housing and infrastructure but also a revision of the Donbas economic model to ensure its sustainable development in the future.
