Trump prepares tariff revolution: duties for all countries of the world

Donald Trump has announced the large-scale introduction of tariffs that will affect all countries of the world without exception. According to him, the new tariff plan, which he will present in the coming days, will become the most radical change in US trade policy.

Not just key partners

If previously trade restrictions were considered with regard to the 10–15 largest economies, which make up the bulk of US foreign trade turnover, the president now intends to extend them to the entire world. 

Trump's version of "Liberation Day"

The presentation of the new tariff plan is scheduled for Wednesday. Trump himself calls this date «днём освобождения» ("Liberation Day"), hinting at the significance of the upcoming changes.
