Shooting at Nashville school

A tragic incident occurred at a school in the US city of Nashville, resulting in the death of a female student and the injury of another. The incident was reported by ABC News.

According to a police statement, a 17-year-old high school student opened fire in the school cafeteria. The attacker drew a firearm and shot at his female classmates. 

One of the students sustained a serious injury and was rushed to hospital, but doctors were unable to save her life. The second victim suffered a hand injury and received timely medical attention.

The attacker took his own life before law enforcement arrived. At present, the motives behind his actions remain unknown. An internal investigation is being conducted at the school, while the police continue to establish the circumstances of the tragedy.
