Second son of Anna German dies

On 17 September, the eldest son of Anna German, press secretary to fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych, passed away. Nikolai German had celebrated his 36th birthday just a week ago. He had long-standing health problems, dating back to his time as Deputy Minister of Ukraine for Emergency Situations. He underwent numerous medical examinations but was reluctant to take his health seriously and refused treatment.

Early this morning, he experienced severe chest pain and decided to drive to the hospital himself. However, his condition deteriorated en route; he prudently pulled over and activated his hazard lights.

A driver in a passing car called an ambulance. By the time medical help arrived, Nikolai German had already died. According to doctors, Anna German's son suffered a heart attack.

It is worth recalling that six years ago, Anna German's younger son, Roman, died in a car accident.
