Eremeev, MP who fell from horse, dies

People's Deputy of Ukraine Igor Eremeev died today at a foreign clinic. The politician's body had been desperately fighting a severe traumatic brain injury for more than two weeks, which he sustained after falling from a horse.

The incident occurred on 26 July in Volyn, where Eremeev fell from his horse while riding, fracturing the base of his skull. Just a few days later, doctors stated that his condition had stabilised and that the deputy's life was no longer in danger, and that he could be transported abroad for rehabilitation, which his relatives did. However, the treatment did not yield the desired results, and today Eremeev died.

Despite his affiliation with the Party of Regions, the deputy actively assisted Ukrainian military personnel.
