Saakashvili proposes routing the Silk Road through Yuzhny

Odesa Oblast Governor Saakashvili proposed routing the famous Chinese Silk Road project through Yuzhny. This was announced by Ukrainian People's Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko. Given the emerging decline in exports and imports in China, the chances of Beijing approving Saakashvili's project are very high.

Идея шелкового пути - есть идея транзитного объединения Тихого океана и Средиземного моря, а Одесса всегда была воротами в Средиземноморье для всего торгового евразийского пространства. Ну, а о политической значимости данной инициативы одесского губернатора говорит тот пропагандистский вой  который подняли российские СМИ, паника и истерика Кремля говорят, что мы идем верной дорогой. Думаю, что каждый украинский губернатор должен увидеть свой регион как отдельную экономическую единицу и предложить и его самостоятельное развитие на благо общего дела и в этом есть суть европейской интеграции. Экономическая диффузия необходимое условие развития глобальной экономики, и наша страна, не должна стоять в стороне этого пути (I think that every Ukrainian governor should see their region as a separate economic unit and propose its independent development for the benefit of the common cause, and this is the essence of European integration.
