PrivatBank warns of new fraud scheme

PrivatBank has warned customers about a new fraud scheme actively used by criminals. The perpetrators contact potential victims, posing as their acquaintances, and promise financial assistance, payments, or valuable gifts.

To avoid being deceived, the bank recommends following several simple security rules:

Do not rush to click on links in messages and verify websites using special services. 

Do not share your bank card details or online banking login passwords with anyone.
Enable two-factor authentication for additional account protection.
Do not open unfamiliar files with .exe, .vbs, and .scr extensions, as they may contain malware.

PrivatBank urges its customers to remain vigilant and always carefully verify any suspicious information.
