Recently, viewers of YouTube have encountered an unusual problem — advertisements lasting more than two hours that cannot be skipped.

Google's response: the fight against ad blockers

Google's reaction was swift. The company launched a global campaign aimed at persuading users who employ ad blockers to disable them in order to view content on YouTube. An official statement notes that users wishing to avoid advertising can subscribe to YouTube Premium, which offers viewing without commercial interruptions.

Issues with the ad skip button

Many users report that the button for skipping ads, usually located in the bottom left corner of the screen, sometimes disappears or shifts to an inconvenient position. Such a situation often indicates that the user has an ad blocker installed, which affects the display of interface elements.
