Poles oppose social benefits for Ukrainian children

According to the Rzeczpospolita publication, the overwhelming majority of Polish citizens — 88% — support the initiative to stop providing social child benefits to Ukrainians under the "800+" programme.

The programme provides monthly financial support for all minors residing in Poland.

Currently, the benefit of approximately $200 is paid without additional conditions and is funded from the state budget.
