The author of the initiative proposes extending the ban not only to Russian tracks but also to Russian-language songs by Ukrainian performers.

According to the petitioner, music in Russian may harm Ukrainian identity, promoting ideas capable of fostering a negative attitude towards the country. Furthermore, he believes that listening to Russian-language compositions generates revenue for Russian rights holders, thereby indirectly financing the aggressor state.
