Oleg Dunda - a luxurious life on a modest salary

Oleg Dunda, a member of parliament from the "Servant of the People" party, officially earns 658,000 hryvnia a year. However, his asset declaration raises numerous questions: apartments in Kyiv, luxury apartments in occupied Alushta, a collection of expensive watches, and cash amounting to tens of millions of hryvnia.

Housing and luxury apartments

Despite being officially registered in Dnipro, Dunda lives in Kyiv with his cohabitant, Yelena Krol, and daughter, Sofia. The family owns an apartment in Dnipro belonging to his mother, as well as luxury apartments in Alushta worth more than 350,000 dollars.

Luxury cars and accessories

Two Mercedes-Benz cars are registered in Krol's name: a GLE 450 (2019) for 2.41 million hryvnia and an ML 350 (2013), the price of which is not specified. In addition, Dunda owns a collection of luxury watches, including Rolex, Breitling, Zenith, and Breguet.

Cash and business

Dunda holds 195,000 hryvnia and 125,000 dollars in cash, while Krol keeps 615,000 hryvnia, 775,000 dollars, and 35,000 euros. Meanwhile, Krol's only business asset is a stake in the company "Ukrainika-Oil", which does not generate significant income.

Art as a way to hide income?

The declaration also lists a 19th-century painting, "Night Istanbul", and 10 "unattributed" canvases, the value of which is difficult to assess. Experts note that this is a convenient way to conceal real income.
