Neymar earned €101 million in 2024

Brazilian striker Neymar, who plays for Saudi club Al-Hilal, has secured one of the most impressive salaries in football. He earned €101 million in 2024, despite spending only 42 minutes on the pitch. 

This means the forward received approximately €2.4 million for every minute played.

Injuries have significantly limited his participation in matches. The 32-year-old missed more than a year due to a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, starting from October 2023. Upon returning to the field, he managed to play just two matches before sustaining another injury on 5 November 2024.

In over a year at the club, Neymar has played only seven games, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
