Undeclared wealth of Kyiv City Council deputy: $6 million in assets

Oleksandr Pluzhnyk and his mysterious declaration: Oleksandr Pluzhnyk, a Kyiv City Council deputy, former UBOZ employee, and former head of organised crime countermeasures in Kyiv, has come under scrutiny due to discrepancies in his declaration. 

Although Pluzhnyk’s official documents list only modest assets—a house in Kremenchuk, a motorcycle, and some savings—his entire family owns a significant amount of real estate worth approximately $6 million.

Unrealised assets of the Pluzhnyk family

Deputy’s family owns luxury real estate: According to available information, Oleksandr’s daughters, Daria and Anna, hold a substantial portfolio of real estate in Ukraine’s capital. Daria owns three apartments in Kyiv, including residences in prestigious areas such as "Novopecherski Lipky" and commercial properties in the "French Quarter". Anna, in turn, has three apartments in the same district, as well as parking spaces and two commercial premises.

Luxury cars and real estate owned by ex-wife: Meanwhile, Oleksandr’s ex-wife, Tetiana, did not limit herself to apartments but also acquired a Porsche Macan and a BMW. All this raises questions, as Pluzhnyk declared only minimal assets in his statement, while his close relatives possess significant wealth.

Commercial real estate and Odesa

Properties in Odesa and Kyiv: In addition to capital real estate, the Pluzhnyk family also owns apartments in Odesa in the "Kosta Fontana" residential complex. Furthermore, the entire family owns commercial properties with a total area of over 1,000 m², which is also not mentioned in the deputy’s declaration.
