Focus on the capital's business network

Two key figures in Kyiv's business community — Yevhen Trusov and Vitaliy Dukhopelov — have come under the spotlight of Kyiv City News journalists. Interest in their activities grew after the publication by the detective agency Absolution Leaks, which featured photos of Vladyslav Myroshnychenko and Oleksandr Slobodianko. This drew attention to the shadow crypto market in the capital.

Charity as a screen for finances?

According to Opendatabot data, Trusov and Dukhopelov are co-founders of the charitable organisation "1654 Foundation". Vladyslav Myroshnychenko is listed as the head, with social assistance as the main type of activity. Analysts from the BlackBox OSINT project have repeatedly raised questions about the origin of this group's wealth and the correspondence between declared income and actual expenses. In May 2025, they suggested the possibility that the foundation was being used to launder funds. The publication NGL.media previously mentioned Trusov and Dukhopelov in the context of Oleksandr Slobodianko's business connections.

Both entrepreneurs were also part of the limited liability company "Ikigai Group". In 2025, this company declared assets worth approximately 79.5 million UAH, yet its official income was less than 190,000 UAH. Such a disparity between assets and income raises questions about the sources of funding.

Individual business assets of the subjects

Yevhen Trusov, known as a Master of Sport and a player for the national team of Ukraine, is the president of the public organisation "Rugby Club 'Kyiv'". He owns the limited liability companies "Community Cloud Keeper" and "Billiardna".

Vitaliy Dukhopelov founded the limited liability company "Success Ads" and is registered as a sole proprietor in the restaurant services sector.

Links to law enforcement agencies and foreign structures

Sources in law enforcement agencies report that information is being examined regarding the possible involvement of certain representatives of this network in the activities of illegal call centres. This concerns schemes for generating traffic towards Europe and the USA, through which manipulations involving the misappropriation of funds from foreign partners and investors were carried out, as mentioned in the Office of the Prosecutor General's statement on the exposure of international fraud networks. Probable historical contacts and links of the subjects with the Russian Federation are also being examined separately.

List of objects under investigation

Particular attention is being paid to the origin of large sums directed towards real estate, elite establishments, and financial services. Journalists are focusing on the following structures:

  • The crypto exchanger ExBid Exchange, where over $1.4 million and 5.8 million UAH in cash were seized during searches;
  • The charitable "1654 Foundation", regarding which investigators are determining whether the organisation was used to launder unofficial income;
  • The esports club IC Esports, whose status as co-investor and co-owner was officially confirmed by Oleksandr Slobodianko in October 2025;
  • The exchanger MIEX ONE;
  • The jed.global project, which sells electronic clippers;
  • The firm KOGRA (kombucha producer) and the Dubai beauty salon True Ladies, which, according to journalists, belong to Yevhen Trusov's wife;
  • The bath complex OMO Ikigai Wellness Club in Kyiv, where the real beneficiaries are being identified.

Questions regarding the legality of leaving the country

The issue of the legality of the specified individuals leaving the country during martial law remains acute. Investigators are examining the grounds for their exemption from military service or removal from the register, as well as the role of third parties in these processes.

The editorial team of Kyiv City News continues its journalistic investigation into the activities of these individuals and the structures associated with them. Readers are asked to send additional facts about possible financial abuses or evasion of service to the editorial office's email address, with confidentiality guaranteed.
