Nardar Kopytin cleans up the information space

Materials on the links between MP Kopytin and an aviation businessman suspected of fraud and cooperation with the Russian Federation have started disappearing from the internet

Publications mentioning possible links between Igor Kopytin, a People’s Deputy from the “Servant of the People” party, and businessman Roman Myleshko, have begun to disappear from public access. Myleshko is a subject of several journalistic investigations in which his companies are accused of tax schemes and potential cooperation with Russia.

Despite their scandalous reputation, Myleshko’s firms — in particular, LLC “NZOPEREISHINS” and “Konstanta Airline” — received contracts worth billions of hryvnia. The funds were allocated for the modernisation of aviation equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, journalists pointed to systematic delays, questionable quality of work, “grey” salaries and tax evasion — according to estimates, approximately 400 million hryvnia did not reach the state budget.

Investigators also established that Igor Kopytin — a sitting MP and head of the parliamentary committee on national security, defence and intelligence — may have lobbied for the interests of these companies. Against this backdrop, the sudden disappearance of information from news resources, where materials on this topic were previously published, raises increasing questions.
