Nadiya Savchenko intends to continue hunger strike until change of preventive measure

A further court hearing on changing the preventive measure for the well-known pilot, abducted from Ukrainian territory and held in a Moscow pre-trial detention centre – Nadiya Savchenko – is scheduled for 26 March. Today, Savchenko sent another message through her lawyer Mark Feygin, stating that she will not end her hunger strike until her preventive measure is changed to at least house arrest within the walls of the Ukrainian consulate.

 

Recall that after a brief partial cessation of her full hunger strike, Savchenko refused food again and this time has no intention of backing down.
